Privacy Policy

Last updated 18 August 2026

1. Who we are

Visilyo is an AI visibility analysis service operated by a sole trader, with its principal business address at 3 Broom Drive, SY5 0AZ, United Kingdom. For privacy enquiries, contact callum@visilyo.com.

2. What this policy covers

This policy explains how we process personal information when you visit Visilyo, create or use an account, buy credits or a subscription, run an analysis, receive a report-ready notification or contact us.

3. Information we collect

We may process your name, email address, authentication and account records, credit balance and transaction history, Stripe customer and payment references, websites and search prompts you submit, analysis history, support correspondence, device/browser information, security logs and service usage data. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number when Stripe processes a payment.

4. Website-analysis data

When you submit a website, Visilyo may retrieve publicly accessible pages, text, structured data, images, links and other evidence needed to perform the analysis. Content submitted for analysis may be sent to selected AI and website-processing providers solely as necessary to deliver the requested service.

5. How and why we use information

We use personal information to create and secure accounts; provide analyses and reports; administer free scans, credits and subscriptions; send transactional messages such as report-ready emails; provide support; prevent abuse and fraud; maintain service reliability; measure API and infrastructure usage; meet accounting, legal and regulatory obligations; and improve the service.

6. Lawful bases

Depending on the activity, we rely on performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, our legitimate interests in operating and securing Visilyo, or consent where consent is legally required. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting processing already carried out lawfully.

7. Service providers and international transfers

We use third-party providers to operate Visilyo. These may include Vercel and Render for hosting, Stripe for payments, Resend for transactional email, and AI or web-processing providers including OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, Perplexity and other providers configured in the service. Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where required, we rely on appropriate contractual or other lawful transfer safeguards.

8. Retention

We keep account, analysis and transaction information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide your account and reports, meet legal/accounting requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and maintain appropriate business records. We may delete or anonymise data sooner where it is no longer needed. You can contact us to request deletion, subject to information we must retain by law.

9. Security

We use technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal information, including authenticated access controls, restricted administrative access and encrypted connections. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

10. Your rights

Where UK data-protection law applies, you may have rights to access, correct or erase personal information, restrict or object to certain processing, obtain portable data in applicable cases, and complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. These rights can be subject to legal conditions and exemptions.

11. Cookies and browser storage

Visilyo uses browser storage and may use cookies that are necessary for authentication, security and core service functionality. Optional analytics or marketing technologies will only be introduced with the appropriate notice and consent controls where required. See our Cookie Policy.

12. Transactional email

We may email you when an analysis is ready, when a payment or subscription requires attention, or when necessary to operate your account. These are service messages rather than marketing communications.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Visilyo, its providers or legal requirements change. The current version will always be published on this page with its latest update date.
